The Education Department of Bogotá is a core division of the Mayoralty of the city. It is in charge of directing all the education programs, investment and innovation regarding the educational path of the city. Together with AIESEC in Colombia, it is currently implementing the "AULAS DE INMERSIÓN" project, an anbitious initiative which looks forward to improve and broaden the education experience for children. "AULAS DE INMERSIÓN" consists of giving them the chance to enhance their English speaking skills trough innovative and fun techniques, mainly by using IT tools provided by the Mayoralty.The first season of the project brought to the country the talent of 26 international cooperants (trainees), from countries as Canada, Brazil, Eslovakia, Nigeria, Germany, Belgium, the US, Italy, Russia, Poland and Romania, the impact reached more than 10.000 children and their families and the overall quality of the project kept as one os the best of the country and the AIESEC in Colombia network. There are many stories to tell and many more to create. We´re looking for the next 100 protagonists of the the second season of the project. |

Monthly payment: USD $850
Health services registration and montlhly cost covered by AIESEC in Colombia and the Organization (USD $50 monthly).
Guidelines. contents and materials for the learning environments are all provided by the Education Department.
Acccomodation: Arrangend before arrivals and to be paid by the trainee, monthly ( USD$200). Subsidy of USD $100 provided during the first month.
